As you may all know, Peetah Morgan of the legendary group Morgan Heritage has passed away in February 2024.

“At this time, the group needs some time before touring again after the loss of their beloved brother, Peetah Morgan. Therefore Morgan Heritage will not be performing at Sun Splash Reggae Festival this summer on July 21st.

They look forward to performing a great show for their Loyal Royal fan base in 2025!

Welcome to the Sun Splash Reggae Festival, marking its debut edition! Organized by an experienced team with over 15 years of expertise in hosting global live concerts, this festival promises an unforgettable experience. With an impressive track record of past events featuring renowned artists such as Burna Boy, Beenie Man, Buju Banton, Rema, Vybz Kartel, Gentleman, Ja Rule & Ashanti, and many more, the organizers have established a solid reputation.

Having successfully attracted tens of thousands of attendees in countries like Curaçao, Suriname, and the Netherlands through previous large-scale festivals, this team is now bringing its rich history and expertise to the Zuiderpark in Den Haag. Here, the audience can indulge in a mega-event featuring Reggae superstars, Reggae Legends, and world-class Dancehall artists.

LOCATION

Get ready for the Sun Splash Reggae Festival happening on Sunday, July 21th, 2024, from 1 PM until 11 PM at Zuiderpark in Den Haag, The Netherlands.

MINIMUM AGE

All ages are allowed at Sun Splash Reggae Festival. Childeren of the age of 0 up to and including 11 years must be accompanied by adults and are free of charge/entrance fee. Childeren of the age of 12 up to and including 15 years get 50% discount on a ticket.

Age will be checked. Proof of identification is required for everyone.  Valid proof of identity is a passport, identity card and driver’s license.  (Supervisors of) children up to and including 13 years old must also be able to prove their age.

Wondering where to grab your tickets? Official tickets for the Sun Splash Reggae Festival are exclusively available on our website, through the official ticket shop, or the resale platform provided by our partner Paylogic. We strongly recommend purchasing tickets through these channels to ensure validity and avoid overpriced or fraudulent tickets.

PAYMENT METHODS

We accept almost all payment methods, ensuring a smooth transaction. Additionally, Klarna allows you to pay in installments.

TICKET CONFIRMATION

Don’t panic if you can’t find your ticket immediately or didn’t receive a confirmation email. Tickets will be sent out no later than three days before the event. If needed, you can retrieve your confirmation email from Paylogic.

PERSONALIZING TICKETS

Every Sun Splash attendee must personalize their entrance tickets. Follow the steps provided in the confirmation email to claim or send your tickets. Multiple tickets? Invite your friends to personalize them individually.

CHANGING NAME ON TICKET

Name change is possible through the Paylogic name change module. A small fee applies, so wait if you’re unsure who will use the ticket.

DISABLED INDIVIDUALS

There will be a platform for PWDs (Persons With Disabilities). Maximum 10 participants with 1 accompanying person.

For those driving to Zuiderpark, we advise starting your journey promptly to ensure you catch all your favorite artists. Factor in a travel time of approximately 20 minutes from the car park to the event site.

BY BOAT

Traveling by boat from the UK to Holland offers various ferry routes, including options departing from ports like Harwich, Hull, or Newcastle to Rotterdam or Hook of Holland. These ferries cater to both passengers and vehicles, providing amenities such as restaurants, cabins, and entertainment.

Upon arrival in Holland, travelers can utilize the extensive public transportation network to explore cities like The Hague. From Rotterdam or Amsterdam, trains run to The Hague Central Station, connecting travelers to the city’s tram network.

Alternatively, visitors can opt for driving, with easy access via major highways such as the A4 and A12. 

BY AIR

To travel from the UK to Holland by air, you have several options for direct flights between major airports in both countries. London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Manchester, and Birmingham are among the airports in the UK offering direct flights to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, the main international airport in the Netherlands. Airlines such as British Airways, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, easyJet, and Ryanair operate frequent flights on this route, providing travelers with flexibility in terms of schedules and fares. The flight duration is typically around one to one and a half hours, making air travel a convenient and efficient option for those looking to reach Holland quickly.

Upon landing at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, travelers heading to The Hague can board a direct train to The Hague Central Station, with a journey lasting about 30-40 minutes. From there, they can easily access the city’s tram network or opt for a taxi. Alternatively, renting a car at the airport provides flexibility, with The Hague conveniently connected via major highways like the A4.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Around the Sun Splash Reggae Festival, you have two nearby train stations: Den Haag Central Station and Den Haag Holland Spoor. Plan your trip using the NS or 9292 app/website to determine the best station for you.

DEN HAAG CENTRAL STATION

  1. Rent a bike at NS or HTM and cycle to Zuiderpark.
  2. Rent a shared scooter.
  3. Take a tram:
    • From Den Haag Central Station to Zuiderpark (festival): Lines 4 (Uithof) or 6 (Leyenburg) to Monnickendamplein.
    • From Zuiderpark (festival) to Den Haag Central Station: Lines 4 (Zoetermeer Lansingerland) or 6 (Leidschendam Noord) to Den Haag Central Station.

DEN HAAG HOLLAND SPOOR

  1. Rent a bike at NS or HTM and cycle to Zuiderpark.
  2. Rent a shared scooter.
  3. Take a tram:
    • From Den Haag Holland Spoor to Zuiderpark (festival):
      • Lines 9 (Vrederust) or 16 (Wateringen) to Loevesteinlaan.
      • OR Lines 11 (Scheveningen Haven) or 12 (Duindorp) to Hoefkade.
    • From Zuiderpark (festival) to Den Haag Holland Spoor:
      • Get on at Loevesteinlaan and take lines 9 (Scheveningen Noord) or 16 (Den Haag Centraal).
      • OR Get on at Hoefkade and take lines 11 (Station HS) or 12 (Station HS).

Follow Sun Splash Reggae Festival signs and staff directions. For the journey back, avoid relying on the last tram or train to dodge crowds. Ensure sufficient credit on your OV-Chipkaart.
